Lido di Venezia

The Lido di Venezia (Lido Inlet) is the main land barrier between the Venice Lagoon and the Adriatic Sea. It's the only island where cars and motorcycles are allowed.

The Lido is the perfect place for those looking for good accommodation; here you can find many hotels providing all kinds of comfort. It is easily reached from the centre of Venice; it takes approximately twenty minutes from St. Mark's Square. You can use different motorboat lines: 1, 5.1, 5.2, 6, 10, 11, 14, 14L, 15.

The Lido becomes very popular between late August and early September, when it hosts the International Venice Film Festival.
